Join neighbors for an evening of storytelling and connection. Community members will share personal stories about learning, growing up, parenting, teachers, friendship, and the school experiences that shape us all. This is a pay-what-you-want event benefiting General Philip Kearny School (6th & Fairmount). Suggested donation: $5-$25.

Liberty Land's has a free compost drop-off site! This volunteer-run program accepts compostable items every Saturday from 11am - noon. Our drop-off bins are on North 3rd St & West Wildey St.

This First Saturday Open House features live turtles from Saint Joseph's University's Biodiversity Lab, collage activities to learn about different kinds of shells, and browsing Wagner's collection of reptile specimens. Presentations on turtle life cycles and species differentiation will be given at 1pm and 3pm. Family-friendly activities include making collages inspired by turtle shells and themed scavenger hunts.

Kids Kicks provides a safe and fun environment for children to engage in sports, focusing on nurturing their physical and social well-being. The program aims to foster a love for sports and an active lifestyle, instilling valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Experienced coaches and staff promote healthy habits and a sense of community.
