Our 101 Series is a beginner style design demonstration. No doodads are made, only learning. Join us to work through the design process and understanding how designers base their design solution from a concept with head coach + founder Erike. We’ll do our best to understand how to get to a concept, how it develops, and try some sketching and exercise how to get to a concept on our own. Registration includes designer(s) introductions, design thinking process, and live demonstration of tools alongside expert(s), and light refreshments. OPEN TO ALL adult and youth designers. Prior design experience is not required. Leave with skills, knowledge + appreciation.

Come dressed in your favorite Harry Potter wear! After the match, stick around for a Kidditch Lesson where kids (ages 6-12'ish) can learn the basics of this magical sport.

She also collaborated with NASA astronaut Mark Kelly on the Astrotwins books. The prolific writer lives in Oregon, and will visit LaserPhilly on November 8th for a special event celebrating her latest book: Kitty vs. Kindergarten.
