Join Miss Liz for Read, Baby, Read storytime on Monday mornings at 11:30am. Stay after storytime for playtime! Intended for babies and toddlers ages 0-2, but all are welcome. In the colder months and in unfavorable weather this event will be held indoors on the library's 3rd floor, accessible by stairs or elevator. In the warmer months and in favorable weather, this event will be held outdoors at the Fishtown Recreation Center, directly across the street from the library.

Come dressed in your favorite Harry Potter wear! After the match, stick around for a Kidditch Lesson where kids (ages 6-12'ish) can learn the basics of this magical sport.

This four-week course offers individualized training for climbers pushing into V4-V6 routes. With lessons focused on finessing technique and building mental skills for problem-solving, participants will gain the tools needed to project climbs confidently, push their climbing grades, and expand their personal climbing routine.

This four-week progressions course is designed to give new climbers the fundamentals, routines, and dedication to grow as climbers. You will be empowered to establish a consistent warm-up practice, learn and refine climbing techniques, and hone an intentional projecting practice.

With three categories, People's Choice & Best Resident Chili & Best Restaurant Chili, the competition is fierce but the event is nothing short of a chili-induced party complete with live music and neighborly comradery.

Intro to Bouldering is designed for anyone who is new to climbing and wants to build familiarity and comfort on the wall. Our trained staff will discuss basic safety, climbing fundamentals, and gym etiquette. After warming up, your instructor will guide you through various routes in the gym providing helpful feedback. This class is open to ages 8+ (ages 8-12 must take this class with a parent or guardian).
