The Wagner received 4 donations of lantern slides this fall, including slides of Philadelphia roads in the nineteen-teens, Belgium in 1917, and botanical and architectural educational slides. Come join us at Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park for an exciting day of Quidditch fun! Watch teams battle it out, and maybe even catch the Golden Snitch in action. Come dressed in your favorite Harry Potter wear! After the match, stick around for a Kidditch Lesson where kids (ages 6-12'ish) can learn the basics of this magical sport.

Meet the Author: Martha Freeman

Martha Freeman worked as a reporter and teacher before becoming a full-time writer of books for young readers, including the Edgar Award–nominated Zap!, Born Curious, The Secret Cookie Club series, Who Stole Halloween?, and Effie Starr Zook Has One More Question. She also collaborated with NASA astronaut Mark Kelly on the Astrotwins books. The prolific writer lives in Oregon, and will visit LaserPhilly on November 8th for a special event celebrating her latest book: Kitty vs. Kindergarten.
